About Us

Studio Pandan

We design workplaces people don’t want to leave.

Studio Pandan is a Kuala Lumpur–based workplace design-and-build practice, led by a WELL Accredited Professional.

We partner with multinational organisations to tackle a critical yet often overlooked business challenge: the hidden costs of workplaces that work against their people.

Guided by the WELL Building Standard, we design and build interiors across all ten concepts — air, water, light, sound, thermal comfort, nourishment, movement, materials, mind, and community. Our aim is straightforward: to replace environmental stressors that sap health and performance with conditions proven to enhance both.

Every intervention is grounded in real-time environmental data. Every decision is measurable. Every outcome is verifiable.

What We Believe

The workplace is not just a backdrop to work — it is one of the most powerful instruments an organisation has. It influences how people feel, how they perform, and whether they choose to stay.

We believe every workplace decision should be:

Lois Yeap

Founder and Principal

"Listening to the workspace, caring for its people."

Lois is a CIDB-certified interior designer and the founder of Studio Pandan. Her journey into workplace strategy began not in a design studio, but inside the multinational corporations she supported, where she became a close observer of the human realities of corporate life.

She noticed that even in beautifully designed offices, people struggled with the everyday details: the glare on a laptop screen from a nearby window, the office that turned uncomfortably cold when it rained, the background hum that never quite disappeared.

These observations led to a simple but powerful belief: a workspace should be a sanctuary — a place that supports people rather than depleting them.

Lois’s approach is rooted in Evidence-Based Design (EBD) — the application of scientific research on how environments influence health. She does not believe in design for design’s sake. Instead, she prioritises the quiet essentials:

When these fundamentals are addressed well, they reduce the invisible stresses that drive burnout, disengagement, and high turnover.

By integrating ESG-informed principles, Lois helps companies meet their commitments to both their global community and their people. Through environmental data interpretation, she provides a clear, transparent picture of how a space is truly performing — making “healthy office” a lived experience, not just a line in a report.

For Lois, the greatest value she can offer any multinational company is a sense of stability. She understands that behind every turnover statistic is a person looking for a place where they feel well, supported, and valued. Her mission is to help organisations create that place — one thoughtful, data-backed detail at a time.
