We create workplaces where people want to stay.

Studio Pandan is a workplace design-and-build practice based in Kuala Lumpur. We work with multinational organisations to address a challenge most fit-outs overlook: the hidden costs of workplaces that work against their people.

Guided by the WELL Building Standard [1] — the world’s leading framework for healthier buildings—we design and deliver workplaces that measurably enhance how people feel, focus, and perform. Our approach covers all ten WELL concepts, including air quality, acoustic design, thermal comfort, and community.

Every intervention is grounded in environmental data. Every decision is measurable. Every outcome is verifiable.

The workplace is one of the most powerful instruments an organisation has.

It shapes how people feel, how they perform, and whether they choose to stay.

Grounded in evidence

Guided by science

Accountable to outcome

What guides us.

Problem-solving

We tackle underlying causes rather than settling for surface-level fixes.

We remain accountable from our first conversation through post-occupancy, providing clear, honest communication at every stage.

The workplace is never truly finished. We optimise by continually monitoring and learning.

We build environmental responsibility into our work from the beginning, rather than tacking it on at the end.

Lois Yeap

Founder and Principal

Listening to the workspace. Acting on what it tells us.

Meet the founder.

She noticed that even in well-designed offices, people still struggled with everyday details: the glare of a nearby window on a laptop screen, an office that grew uncomfortably cold whenever it rained, and a background hum that never quite went away.

Lois, a CIDB-certified interior designer, is the founder of Studio Pandan. She began her journey into workplace strategy while supporting multinational corporations, where she closely observed the human realities of corporate life.

These observations led to a core conviction: if you can’t measure the environment, you can’t fix it. And if you can’t fix it, your people will leave.

By integrating ESG-informed principles and environmental data interpretation, she helps organisations see clearly how their workplaces perform — and gives them the evidence to act on it.

For Lois, the greatest value she can offer any organisation is clarity — a workspace where the conditions are right, the data proves it, and the people stay.
